Prepare employment interview questions to ask your interviewer
Have your key employment interview questions spelled out and ready so you can get a full understanding of the position. One of my mantras regarding interviewing that I have tirelessly expressed over the twenty years is “Don’t leave an interview without saying everything you wanted to say and asking everything you wanted to ask.” Ask the resume editor to prepare a high-quality resume for you. Too often people will tell me, “I didn’t think I could or should ask that or those questions.” WRONG! Have you gotten your ticket punched for a second dance? NO! So why wait to find out what you need to know NOW! I can’t stress to you enough that the interview is yours therefore take the time to get all the information you need to know. You have researched the market, products and company to your hearts content. You are pretty much done with what you need to know, right? I think not! If you want control of your destiny, take control of the interview. That means spending time concentrating on interview questions and preparation. This means you write down all the questions you want to ask and not leaving anything to chance. You want to roll the dice, go to Vegas. Additionally, you must be prepared to answer the manager interview questions properly and confidently. There are always general interview questions that give them an idea of what you are about before they get into specifics.
